For the past 11 years, Ealy Elementary and Alcoa-Howmet have partnered to provide curriculum enhancing presentations to students in grades 3-5.  The Michigan Association of School Boards recently named this unique partnership as one of the 2008 Excellence in Education winners.  Ealy and Howmet-Alcoa representatives will accept this honor on behalf of both organizations during a reception on May 6th.  The award was primarily based upon the partnership’s ability to support high levels of student achievement in science education.
