Rachel K. Mitteer, Vice President
Rachel Mitteer was elected to the Board of Education in 2018, taking her seat in January 2019. Rachel has 12 years experience as a nurse along with several years in hospital leadership. She earned her ASA in Nursing from Muskegon Community College, and her Bachelors and Masters in Nursing, and Masters in Business Administration from University of Phoenix online while working full time and raising her family.
Rachel has a passion for healthy living. She loves to cook, bake, garden, sew, and craft. She has a love of learning, writing, reading, and the arts, and is active in her church choir. She loves her community and helps in various capacities. Rachel is honored to serve on the Whitehall District Schools Board of Education with a focus on continued growth that gives our students a safe environment, while setting all students up for success.
