Welcome to Whitehall District Schools

Students, staff and parents of Whitehall District Schools are part of a community that takes pride in a quality educational system committed to the expectation that all students can and will learn. The greater White Lake community has traditionally supported education and cares about the success of its students.

Educational programs are available for learners of all ages, child through adult. Two elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a community education program provide opportunities for all residents.

Graduates from Whitehall District Schools consistently score well in the traditional subject areas such as math, reading, social studies and science. They also exemplify a broad understanding of political, environmental, cultural, and economic issues. Students in the district learn to function as team members applying creative and critical thinking skills in problem solving situations.

Student success in programs such as Science Olympiad, National History Day, Destination Imagination and others demonstrate the quality of education received in the Whitehall District Schools. These successes continue when our graduates enter the work force, attend the most prestigious colleges and universities, and contribute positively to our community.

In 2001, our district approved a 29 million dollar bond issue to build a new High School, renovate the Middle School, Ealy Elementary School, and the Transportation Center. The future is bright for Whitehall and our children!

Please feel free to call the Superintendent's office at (231) 893-1005 if you have questions or would like additional information about Whitehall District Schools.
